About the Tutor:
I completed a major in Mandarin Chinese at UQ in 2004. I have studied a few languages and taught beginners' Thai in the main Brisbane Thai Buddhist Temple's Thai Cultural School, near Browns Plains. There I found out that the native primary school trained teachers, did not have experience teaching the tones, because they had only taught primary students, who were already fluent speakers. Thai and Chinese grammars are very similar and they are both tonal languages. I've been teaching U3A courses online for 4 years. It is too late in the term to enrol in this class.
