Part 3 of this course considers world history from about the middle of the 18th century to 1900. It will cover topics such as 18th century economy and society, the Atlantic slave trade, Napoleonic Europe , and the emergence of political ideologies to which we still adhere today.

About the Tutor:
Dr Robert Hogg has taught history at the University of Queensland, Griffith University, and the Australian Catholic University. He has taught Australian History, Australian Popular Culture, World History, Sex and Gender, European Fascism, Colonialism and Imperialism, and the European Union. He is the author of Men and Manliness on the Frontier: Queensland and British Columbia in the Mid-Nineteenth Century.It is too late in the term to enrol in this class.
