A general listing of all U3A courses given within metropolitan Brisbane is given below. For a description of each individual course, click on the link to the appropriate location.

Tutors’ names and phone numbers are not included in this website but are included in U3A’s printed Newsletter for each term. You will receive a Newsletter each term after you join U3A ($35 single or $60 double, per year). Please present your Membership Card at the start of each Term.

Most classes are given at U3A’s main campus at 188 Vulture Street, South Brisbane. Additional classes are given at other venues listed in the Term Newsletter. These include other City locations, Bellbowrie/Moggill, Beenleigh, Northside, Southside, Westside and Queensland Art Gallery, Wynnum, and the Queensland Museum. If a course listed below can’t be found in the locations to which links are already provided, check the printed Newsletter.

TRY OUT A COMPUTER

Don’t own a computer, but want to try one out? Then come along for a quick introduction to using a computer. Write a letter, send an email, search the web for information. Learn how to start and stop it, play your music, burn your own CD’s. For those interested in buying a computer, bring your questions along. No prior experience needed.
Monday: 1.00-2.30pm Course 6 weeks

Paint.NET is a free easy-to-use image and photo editing program, a powerful yet simple tool, offering users a wide range of tools and features for image enhancement and creative editing. Great for editing old and new photos, a must-have for anyone wanting to work with images.
