Notice about Class Enrolments:
All members wishing to join a class MUST contact the class tutor to enrol. A place may be booked only if the member is currently financial, or intends to be before the course commences. The tutor will explain the structure and cost of the course, and take the member's name, membership number, phone number and email address, and this information will be entered on the class sheet at the first class or first attendance, at which time the membership card MUST be sighted. If you subsequently find that you cannot attend the course, you MUST contact the tutor again so that the tutor can contact other members who may be on a waiting list.

Unless very well qualified, all students are now required to attend Computer Kindy and then Intro to Basic Windows - Computer Management before proceeding to any Level 1 course.
These two courses equip students with the necessary basic skills enabling them to progress to higher courses. All applicants for a computer course must have a computer at home, and bring to classes a USB memory stick.MONDAY (from 23 Jan)

This course will look at the digital camera its basic functions and what it does to capture an image. Look at the ways to
get your images from the camera to your computer. File management using Windows Explorer and Windows Photo Gallery. Want
to fix a poor image? We will use Windows Photo Gallery to make some basic corrections that will improve an image, and stitching
photos together to make panoramas. Also look at batch naming, sizing, e-mail and printing and burning to DVD. Making a gift
DVD of slide shows using Windows Movie Maker.
